Coco Chai Rooibos

I was rather annoyed to find another chai tea in the advent calendar, it has only been six days and I have already received two different chai options. The reason for my annoyance is, as I mentioned before, I don't actually like chai very much and this tea is not changing my mind.
I have tried the Coco Chai Rooibos once before during a free tea day at DAVIDs, I found it to be drinkable and almost pleasant with sugar but it didn't really impress me then and it is not impressing me now (at least not enough to make me want to buy it.) Keep in mind this is all personal preference and I have talked to many people who have tried this tea before and loved it, but there are just too many spices for me to really
enjoy it.
I will admit that this tea smells hella delicious, boasting ingredients like cinnamon, ginger, coconut flakes, cloves, pink peppercorns and cardamom I'm not even surprised by how good it smells but even when I want to love it, I just can't.
All those spices are simply too overpowering for my own personal palate. It's no secret that I have always preferred sweet, fruity teas (I can't even eat anything slightly spicy to save my life) so when all these really strong spices are mixed together it sends my tastebuds into disarray. It also seems to taste slightly soapy to me-- which is never a good thing.
For me this tea is a no go, for you...perhaps you will love it,
especially if you are a fan of heavily spiced Christmas drinks. I plan to keep trying it every once in a while in hopes that it grows on me and I mature into enjoying the rich spicy flavour, but until that day I'll take a pass.
